Let’stake a look into the local trends of our neighbor to the southeast, Houston. The nation’s 4th largest city accounts for over 26 million monthly job searches on Talroo’s network. The top 10 most popular job seeker searchesin Houston were similar to theUS as a whole.
Job seekers are looking for those high-volume major categories like warehouse, customer service, retail, and admin, as well as a few companies by name like Walmart and Frito Lay.In late 2018, anew Amazon fulfillment centerchanged the logistics game inHouston andhelped bring 1-day ordering to the area.
It’s not surprising to see some healthcare topping the list, since Houston is known for its booming healthcare market andworld-class hospital systems. The prevalence of logistic and facilities hiring mirrors the national trends.
