Congratulations to Jobs2Careers' Chief Revenue Officer, Shelly Mudd, on her Austin Business Journal 2016 "Profiles in Power & Women of Influence" award nomination! A Profile in Power is a working woman of distinction that has gained recognition because she is a successful business owner or member of top management with a company or organization of any size and has given back to her community.
Judges will be selecting six winners, including one Rising Star, which will honor a woman under 30 for her achievements thus far and up to five outstanding candidates will be named the 2016 Profiles in Power. These announcements will be made at an upcoming reception on Thursday, September 29th. Lara Logan, a correspondent with “60 Minutes”, will be the keynote speaker.
Along with CEO Bruce Ge, Shelly has taken Jobs2Careers from a 2 person company to a 78 person company within 6 years. The phenomenal growth of the company would have been impossible without Shelly’s business acumen and instincts. Despite the faced-paced nature of startup life, Shelly has found time to build teams and mentor up-and-coming leaders. She was nominated for this award due to her leadership and also her strong community involvement outside the office.
She joins fellow nominees Tina Dobi of WP Engine, Angela Dunham of Yodle, Laura Malcolm of Civitas Learning, Kate Perez of Cisco, and more.
